Situated in the centre of the village on Crowberry Lane conveniently next to the car park, Barton Village Hall is a great venue for regular group activities, meetings, some indoor sports and leisure activities or private functions for all ages.

It has 4 rooms across two floors offering capacities from 20 to 200 people all accessed through a large foyer where you can meet and greet your guests protected by a secure access system. All rooms have wi-fi together with either a fully fitted kitchen or kitchenette, tables and chairs. The use of staging, lighting, a sound system and a projector/screen are available for a small additional cost. A lift or stairs provide access to the first floor. The hall has central heating throughout together with air conditioning in the main hall. We even have a room with access into a small private outside space, great for events in the summer.

The hire fees range from £7 to £13.50 per hour depending on the room(s) to be used and whether for commercial or non-commercial use. Private function fees are from £30 for the first hour and £10 per hour thereafter per room. The whole ground floor of the hall can be hired for £150 for up to 5 hours and £200 for between 5 and 10 hours.

All groups are supported by our friendly Building Managers, Steve and Tamsyn, who look after the day to day running of the hall.

Jepson-Kennedy Room

This air conditioned room is the biggest in the Hall and has a capacity of up to 200 people depending on how you choose to configure it. The room is next to a fully fitted catering kitchen and lends itself to large meetings and conferences, parties, concerts, markets, indoor sport, keep fit and dance.

Shingles Room

This  room has a capacity of up to 100 people depending on how you choose to configure it. The room is next to a fully fitted catering kitchen and lends itself to medium sized meetings and conferences, parties, small concerts, markets, keep fit, dance, crafting and art.

It has access to a private outside space.

Douglas Room

This first floor room has a capacity of up to 60 people depending on how you choose to configure it. The room is next to a kitchenette and lends itself to small/medium meetings and conferences, keep fit, dance, crafting, art and language groups.

This room is accessed either by stairs or a lift. There is also a toilet on the first floor.

The floor is carpeted.

Small Meeting Room

This small room has a capacity of up to 20 people depending on how you choose to configure it. The room has its own kitchenette and lends itself to small meetings and conferences, interviews, crafting and language groups.
