Barton Brook Working Party No. 2 - 25 November 2023

Thanks once again to everyone who came out to support our second Barton Brook Working Party last Saturday morning.

We dealt with the remaining sections that had issues that we weren't able to get to on 18 Nov the previous week - a section by the Allotments on St James Road and the section between Wales Lane and Collinson Road.

So we can head into the rest of the Winter now with the Brook through the middle of the village in good condition to cope with any really heavy rain we may get...

Many thanks to Adam and Tim for doing the necessary chainsaw work, and to Patti for tea, coffee and cake, and to Susie who baked too.

And to Dan Boulter for bringing his trailer and who collected and disposed of all the arisings.

The contributions of everyone who has supported this year's work days is very much appreciated in helping to reduce flood risk through the village.
